Math Tutoring
Welcome! My name is Dr. Kempton Smith. I'm the "Wake Forest Math Tutor." I offer personalized math tutoring for high school students in Wake Forest and North Raleigh, NC.
Subjects that I tutor include algebra 1 and 2, geometry, advanced functions and modeling, trigonometry, pre-calculus, AP calculus, and AP statistics. I also offer custom classes in preparation for the math sections of standardized tests including PSAT, SAT, ACT, GRE, TEAS, GED, GMAT, PRAXIS etc.
My specialty is helping students who are struggling with math and want to improve their grades and test scores in math.
I tutor at your home or at a public location such as the Target store in Wake Forest.

About Dr. Kempton Smith
I'm a retired math teacher with B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mathematical sciences. I taught at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I also taught middle school and high school math. I've been tutoring math for the past eight years and enjoy working with students of all ages. I know mathematics and can teach it so that you can understand it.
I also worked for many years in the biopharmaceutical industry as a biostatistician.
